CELEX Fields – DATE Group

The CELEX fields in the DATE group includes all the date fields used in CELEX, though not all of them apply to all databases. The group includes the following fields:

• Date Case Lodged (lodged)
• Date of Compliance (transpos)
• Date of Debate (debate)
• Date of Despatch (despatch)
• Date of Document (doc)
• Date of End of Validity (endval)
• Date of Entry into Force (inforce)
• Date of Notification (notified)
• Date of Publication (pub)
• Date of Reply (reply)
• Date of Signature (signed)
• Date of Vote (vote)

The DATE group is available with the Treaties database (Sectors 1 and 2), the Legislation database (Sectors 3 and 4), the Proposals database (Sector 5), the Case Law database (Sector 6), the Parliamentary Questions database (Sector 9), the OJC Documents database (Sector C), and the EFTA Documents database (Sector E).

With the exception of the Date of Publication field, you can only search for a single date, not for a range.

Use the Outline to move quickly to any particular field in a document. Use the Search In EU screen to search for terms in one or more of these fields.

There are two more fields that contain dates, in the General group:

• Dates Commission Notified (despnpr)
• Dates of Implementation (infcenp)
