CELEX – Date of Reply Field (reply)

The Date of Reply field in the CELEX database on Justis is part of the DATE group, and contains the date of the reply to a Parliamentary Question. For example:

Date of Reply	20010119
Date of Reply	1999/03/08

Dates in this field are not in a consistent format; some are in the form YYYYMMDD, while others are in the form YYYY/MM/DD.

Date searching in this field is restricted to searching for an exact or truncated date; the date search operators are not available. It is possible to use a search such as "1999 and 03", but this will find documents for the 3rd day of the month as well as for March.

In the Outline, this field is called “Date of Reply”.

In documents, this field is shown as “Date of Reply”.

If you want to use the Date of Reply field on the Quick Search screen or in the Full Text box on the Search In EU screen, its name is “reply”, and you can use searches such as:

reply[20010119]

reply[200101*]

reply[1999/03*]

Used only in the Parliamentary Questions database (Sector 9).
