CELEX – Addressed to Field (address)


The Addressed to field in the CELEX database on Justis is part of the General group, and contains the names of the states, institutions or individuals to which the Act is addressed. For example:

Addressed to     Individual; German Nationality; British Nationality; French Nationality; Italian Nationality; Dutch Nationality; Belgian Nationality; Allied Signal Fluorochemicals Europe B.V.; DuPont de Nemours B.V.; Ausimont SpA; Elf Atochem SA ; Hoechst AG; Rhone-Poulenc Chemicals Ltd; Chemical Industries of Northern Greece SA; ICI Klea; Solvay (B)

In the Outline, this field is called “Addressed to”.

In documents, this field is shown as “Addressed to”.

If you want to use the Addressed to field on the Quick Search screen or in the Full Text box on the Search In EU screen, its name is “address”, and you can use a search such as:

address[belgian or dutch]

Used in the Treaties database (Sector 1), the External Agreements database (Sector 2), the Legislation database (Sectors 3 and 4), the Proposals database (Sector 5), and the Parliamentary Questions database (Sector 9).
