Official Journal C Series – Parties Field

The Parties field in the Official Journal C Series database on Justis is used in documents from the Court of Justice, and contains the number and/or the name of the case. For example:

(Case No IV/M.709 - Telefónica/Sogecable/Cablevisión)

in Case C-78/95 (reference for a preliminary ruling from the Hoge Raad der Nederlanden): Bernardus Hendrikman and Maria Feyen v. Magenta Druck & Verlag GmbH [FN 1]

If you would like to see the full text of a case report, and you subscribe to an appropriate database such as CELEX on Justis:

select the reference (e.g. Case C-78/95) with your mouse;
click “J-Link” in the Document Actions panel.

Using J-Link to display another document

If you want to use this field in the Search All (free text) box, its name is “Case_Name”, and you can use a query such as:

case_name[hendrikman near feyen]

This field is not used in the Minutes of EP Proceedings database.

In previous versions of Justis, this field was called Case Name.
