CELEX – Political Group Field (polgroup)

The Political Group field in the CELEX database on Justis is part of the General group, and contains the political group and nationality of the Members of the European Parliament who asked the question. For example:

CONFEDERAL GROUP OF THE EUROPEAN UNITED LEFT; GREEK NATIONALITY; FRENCH NATIONALITY; PORTUGUESE NATIONALITY; SPANISH NATIONALITY;

In the Outline, this field is called “Political Group”.

In documents, this field is shown as “Political Group”.

If you want to use the Political Group field on the Quick Search screen or in the Full Text box on the Search In EU screen, its name is “polgroup”, and you can use a search such as:

polgroup[(greek and portuguese) not green]

Used only in the Parliamentary Questions database (Sector 9).
