CELEX – UK Implementations Field (gbrprov)


The UK Implementations field in the CELEX database on Justis is part of the UK Provisions group, and contains information about the implementation (provision) of European Union Directives in the United Kingdom, as recorded in the EU’s CELEX database. For example:

UK Implementations     1. The Fresh Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations 1992, Statutory Instruments number 2037 of 1992
2. The Wild Game Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations 1995, Statutory Instruments number 2148 of 1995
3. The Wild Game Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997, Statutory Rules of Northern Ireland number 496 of 1997

In the Outline, this field is called “UK Implementations”.

In documents, this field is shown as “UK Implementations”.

If you want to use the UK Implementations field on the Quick Search screen or in the Full Text box on the Search In EU screen, its name is “gbrprov”, and you can use a search such as:

gbrprov[motor-cycl*]

The data in this field is not always correct or complete, so Justis Publishing adds two extra fields to provide complete information, Implementing SIs and Related SIs.

If you would like to see the full text of a Statutory Instrument, and you have a subscription to UK Statutory Instruments database on Justis:

  1. select the reference (e.g. Statutory Instruments number 2148 of 1995) by dragging slowly over it with your mouse;
  2. click “J-Link” in the Document Actions panel.
