CELEX – Applicant Field (applican)


The Applicant field in the CELEX database on Justis is part of the All Persons group, and contains the name of the applying institution (e.g. Council, Economic and Social Committee) or country, or where appropriate, the keywords “Official” or “Person”. For example:

Applicant     Commission
Applicant     European Parliament

In the Outline, this field is called “Applicant”.

In documents, this field is shown as “Applicant”.

If you want to use the Applicant field on the Quick Search screen or in the Full Text box on the Search In EU screen, its name is “applican”, and you can use a search such as:

applican[belgium or spain]

Used only in the Case Law database (Sector 6).
