Case Law – Year Field

The Year field In most case law databases on Justis contains the year of publication in the corresponding printed journal. For example:

1998

You can use the date search operators Before, After, On, From and To in this field. Use From and To if you want to specify a range of years.

The year when the case was heard can normally be found in the Date field.

In Human Rights Case Law, the Year field contains the Year element from the Date field.

This field does not appear in the Outline.
